Sound Point Meridian Capital, Inc. (“SPMC” or “the Company”) operates as a closed-end investment company. The Company is externally managed and advised by Sound Point Meridian Management Company, LLC (the “Adviser”). The Adviser is registered as an investment adviser with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, as amended.
Our primary investment objective is to generate high current income, with a secondary objective to generate capital appreciation. We seek to achieve our investment objectives by investing primarily in equity and mezzanine tranches of collateralized loan obligations, or “CLOs,” which are backed by portfolios consisting primarily of U.S. senior secured loans. We may also invest in loan accumulation facilities, which are financing facilities that purchase loans before the issuance of a CLO’s securities.
